Default Kw Coilover VS. Koni 4/4 w/ strano springs.

I'm having a hard time making a decision. I like the price of the koni setup but if the kw is a better setup it might be worth the extra $ to me. Anyone on here go from koni to Kw? What would you guys do?

The Kw coilover are nice, but unless you need the ability to adjust your ride height I'd go with the Strano/Koni setup. I doubt the KWs will handle any better.

I have yet to see anyone on this forum with the kw setup. Does anyone have this setup installed?

KW's are really nice. They are, in fact I currently have a set on my new daily driver Scion FR-S.

KW's cost more, but are double adjustable. Yes, Koni also make double adjustable shocks too, and you could get those and my springs for still a bit less than the KW's). But the KW's offer you the ride height adjustment, and if you should wish to change them, the ability to swap in different rate race springs to tune things. The entire KW kit has a lifetime warranty, and the bodies are stainless steel (and if you read the thread about the guy that wasn't happy about rust on his steel shocks, that might matter to you).

If you are going with a bigger rear axle, having shocks that allow you to adjust compression damping is a big help, Koni SA's don't have that ability you would need DA's to do that.

Both work extremely well, I think the Koni/Strano setup is a better value since they aren't as "bling" with the stainless bodies or height adjustment. But you may want some of those options.

Talking

Wow, Scion actually made a decent looking car... But the power of a 4th Gen V6 F-Bod, but requires premium gas?!

It's a 2 liter with a compression ratio of 12.5:1... so yeah, it requires premium.
