Default SS & Z28 spring difference?

I got a really good deal on a full set (4) of low mile 97 SS springs. I have saggy rear springs and need new ones. I was going to buy a set of Strano lowering springs to get the front down a little bit, but came across this deal. Are the SS springs any lower than stock? My buddy says that SLP had eibach make tuned springs for them? I've researched that with no results.

I will put these in because my saggy springs are killing my 60' but if I don't like the look I might take em out and swap stranos. Just trying to get an idea before I get these.

In 96-97 I don't think the SS springs were any different than a Z28 (or formula, TA, ws6, ect). I know the shocks were upgraded as an option, but not many cars got that.

Thought so. Oh well my rear springs are shot so at least I'll have cheap nice riding replacements, help with my lame 1.9 60' on saggy springs...

IF I remember correctly SLP offered a up grade on the SS's ( do not remember what it was called ) which was shocks and springs which lowered the car about 1 "
just trying to remember, Johnny
