Default AutoX -Koni Setting advice needed

Looking to do my first autoX tomorrow and I wanted some advise on Koni Setting for this kind of driving. I have an 01 Camaro SS with rebound adjustable only Konis.

I understand this is base on driver style but just looking for a starting point. I'd hate to set them too firm.

Any help is appreciated!

I have Koni SA and run 3/4 firm in the front and 1/2 in the back. Start with a setup you feel you like and get used to your car if this is your first event. Don't fix the car fix the driver.

Setting them too firm isn't going to hurt you or anything, you can always adjust them during the event between runs. I would suggest starting at 3 sweeps from full hard in front, and full soft or +1 from full soft in the back. Do a couple runs and adjust 2 or so sweeps in the front which ever direction you want then run again. This way you will have first hand back to back experience of what the car feels like when getting more/less rebound and see what you prefer.
Don't drive overly aggressive, slow into the corner-fast out, and have fun!

I see you have my springs and bars on there. Sorry I don't know your name, but if you are a customer mine (and I assume maybe you are given the other parts), then call me and I'll get you helped out.

Where are you autoxing tomorrow? And are you aware there is one in Waldorf MD on Sunday run by Autocrossers Inc? I'll be there on Sunday with my Corvette.

No worries, it's Jerry and I am a customer. It's just been a while.

I'll be doing my first tomorrow with Capital Driving Club out at the Stadium in Bowie, MD. I did see the one in Waldorf but I'd rather do it on Sat. I'll prob go be a spectator in Waldorf on Sun though.

Hopefully all goes well tomorrow and I can make it a habbit.

I usually run the rear full soft and the front 3 sweeps from full soft...i could go a touch stiffer on the rear so i will try that at my next event...

you have adjustability so don't be afraid to experiment...

Have fun...it will make you faster...Guaranteed!
