Thanks for the link help JD!
The 3 points are also nice when using tunnel mounted torque arms. Having extra help at the tunnel brace attachment point really tightens things up.

Some SFCs are lower than others, UMIs tuck up really nice, you can't see then from the side of the car.

Thanks as well JD for the info, we appreciate it!
Like mentioned there is no exhaust issues with the 3-Point SFC's... they are bent to clear all y-pipes and we have never seen an exhaust system that wouldn't work with them.
They do tuck up very tight as well. If you check out the image I linked below you will notice how we bend the bracing to follow the contour of the floor. This is how we are able to tuck them up so well.
I hope this helps some more,
Ryan

My car was hit from an inattentive driver over the summer (actually, a 65 year old woman pulling into a rummage sale....ugh). The damage wasn't too bad, just a dented in quarter panel and my car taking a 4 ft. leap off of a drive way into a ditch trying to avoid her, but since I've been nervous about frame issues someday. I'm basically convinced now to get either UMI or MWC sfc's. I don't know how much they'd do for a driver in case of an accident, but I'm sure they'd help keep the frame from being bent/moved afterwards.

When I was you and dumb, I totalled my 98 ss on the interstate doing 140mph in a high speed run with a vette. The car bounced off the concrete divider 7 times. The front and rear was unrecognizable. From the front of the doors to halfway through the rear quarters look brand new still. The doors still open and shut perfect, the ttops still fit perfect, and I WALKED away. Til this day I still think those SFC's saved me.
They were some boxed red ones, not 3 point connectors, but damn good. This was about 9 years ago so im unsure of the brand. But I definetely think they add to the safety of the car.
