Default fbody bump stops

SO we are all up to date on bump stops... oem replacements can cost $60+ and poly ones are over $100... I know there are also the jeep ones from Strano too, well, I figured out another way since I don't have time for shipping with $13, black paint and my labor... ENJOY
Parts,
Energy's universal poly bump stops (autozone) Like i said, no time for shipping needed in 2 days)
oem b/s bracket
black paint

I bought a set of Energy poly bump stops for a Wrangler, was something like $25 shipped from Amazon.

Those look like generic "snubber"-type bump stops that you modified the stock bump stop brackets to work with?

No, those are the universal energy poly bump stops from autozone and the brackets from oem bump stops... I drilled a hole thru them... Sorry I didn't make it more clear what I used...

Looks good. I'm wondering though.. does anyone think they might bend more in the middle on full suspension impact?

bend in the center? They are centered to the axle...

I think he meant the brackets themselves, but if you're hitting the poly bump stops hard enough to bend that bracket, you probably have more important issues to fix.

If those aren't dead centered on the axle tube and having a lucky day they will be destroyed in a couple of hard hits. While it looks good, I seriously question the lateral strength of that design.......And, though your suspension theoretically shouldn't bottom, it does happen from time to time, I'd want to know my bumpstop wasn't going to keel over.
