They should replace it. It is 100% obvious that their welding is at fault. QC issue maybe.

What the hell? One of the reasons you buy a stiffer tq arm is so you can launch harder. That's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.

I wish that was made clear before I bought it. I would of left my stock arm on.

If you look at the other threads on here I think there is a lot of stress on the top bar near the rear heim joint.
I broke my chrome moly spohn top bar right after the last angled upright.
At least a couple of inches before the threaded coupler's weld.

Update - Just got back from SEMA in Las Vegas.. NO RESPONSE from Spohn yet. I know there shop is open now that the storm is over.

There is absolutely no excuse for this. I have called, emailed and done everything correctly to get them in contact with me. And if they say a 3500 launch is too high that FURTHER proves my point because this launch was around 2500-2800rpms.

I am livid and demand a response

I'm glad I don't take my car to the strip, because if my Random Tech TA breaks, then I'm just screwed

All I have to say is I used full UMI parts on my car and after years of use everything is running great. This is clearly a design flaw as SO many forum members have the exact same break.

I'd warranty it, sell it, and replace with a UMI or BMR part.

Insane that they have not gotten back to you yet! Another reason why I'm glad I went with UMI...

I have been in welding school for a while and im not an expert at welding, but that weld looked horrible, seems to me like the weld wasnt penetrated good enough. Could have missed a one more weld pass around, but any how that sucks! I would have been mad for sure, I have heard and read really good things about Spohn and also bad things as this. Hopefully they can back your product up and Goodluck!

I have talk with Spohn and they don't want to even give a deal on a pro arm even though they sold me a weak (junk) standard arm. I think they don't understand the damage that is caused when one of these arms break ( drive shaft twisted, brand new T56 magnum tail housing broken, cars tunnel has a hole in it) not going to be cheep to fix.

Mine broke my driveshaft at the U-Joint when the TA broke. So this happened to you as well?

I don't know about a lawsuit, but hopefully that people read this and not buy from a company that don't care about the product that they sell. I am glad this didn't break shifting to second or third because thing would have gotten very messy.
