Most of my stuff is UMI but i do have a spohn TA...I just want to take it off and send it back! Spohn is not doing anything for their customer service in this scenario...

I had a bad experience with Spohn several years back and will never buy anything from them again. My 3rd gen has all of his stuff on it, tubular K member, SFC's and so on. After getting screwed I swore off his products and tell everyone I can about it.

Then I found Sam Strano and UMI. Couldn't be happier.

I run Spohn LCA's and PHR that I've had for years now. I thought they made good stuff but aparently they don't or have gone downhill with quality. Was looking at TA's but sure won't order one from them now. Probably going with MWC's long arm that's coming out soon as it's much cheaper than others and I know the quality is there.

Man this is pretty wild reading about all this stuff, and then seeing UMI send a response like that.
I have adjustable LCAs, panhard, and TA from Spohn from back in 2010 and its kindof making me wonder.
I dont have tons of power or anything, but i beat the hell out of it at the track (6000rpm dumps)

Will most likely be looking elsewhere for additional suspension components now.

Sucks that some of you guys have to go through stuff like this. UMIs response is straight to the point, we are all enthusiasts and literally just want to keep our cars on the road/track where they belong, and not on a hoist.

That's why all my suspension is UMI!!

I did screw up before in the past and ordered a driveshaft from spohn and the crap broke!!! It ended up costing me a few thousand because they messed up.

Way to go UMI!

After reading all of this, I'm one of the several that will be pulling off a Spohn T/A in favor of a UMI or BMR piece. Glad I read this before the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales

OP, keep us posted on the UMI repair/Spohn follow-up
