I am running bmr springs with Koni 4/3 shocks front are set at 4 from soft and feel absolutely perfect but the rears are a completely different story . The third gen rears are set to full soft and I feel like when ever I go over a dip in the road, it feels like the rear slams down hard than pops back up very quickly creating a very Jarring feeling . Are my shocks set, too soft for the spring? Or are they still too stiff on their softest setting? Sorry to hijack just giving my input lol

An f body guy (non active board member) who I trust told me the Bilsteins are very stiff. I know this is subjective but I don't want to buy them and my fillings are comming out when I go over a NYC pothole, I don't want a marshmellow either. Is there something in the middle. Im guessing here but @ 46 I am be older than many on the board and don't want a super stiff ride. It won't see the track or any auto crossing & keeping stock height. Any ideas or nice opinions please. Thanks Brian.

Bilsteins are cushy. They're only firm compared to stock shocks which are WAY too soft. My car has Bilsteins and it's my DD, I also drag race and autocross it, and they're very good all-around shocks. The ONLY time they get annoying is when the temperature gets really cold, like down in the teens, the shocks do firm up quite a bit.
Can't wait to do this and get a Strano sway bar. Please keep the opinions comming.

Basically what others are saying. I have had them on the car now for about a year and am very pleased. The car is so much better all around and much more fun to drive.

it really all depends whats done to the car susp wise. a car with all susp work and Bilsteins will feel diff then a car with stock susp and just Bilsteins
i have full aftermarket susp on my car and the Bilsteins are nice. yours being all factory and staying that way as your stated then i think they will suit you will. they will be somewhat stiffer compared the factory shock tho. when you take off the your factory ones and hold the Bilsteins and a stock shock in your hands you will see how much of a diff there is just in the way there built lol

I have the BMR springs on my TA. Blackbird-ws6 has been kind of enough to educate me in what i need for my DD. I have already ordered the Bilstein SLP shocks. Cant wait till they get in. I also have ran in a few people in my area that have that exact set up and had nothing but good things to say. So i was SOLD!
