I thought I might poke my head in. Have you considered the UMI product line? If not please take a look. If so any questions we could possible help with?

We are running a year end sale right now so we have some pretty low pricing.

Happy New year!

They aren't bad if you don't ever have any problems with them. If you do... from watching other users experiences with them on this forum they are not of much help. Personally yes I do have a Spohn piece on my car (solid motor mounts) but the rest is 100% UMI.

Sorry , I bought a car with spohn parts on it . I never used them so that's why I was wondering. They must be a cheap part.

I've had Spohn components on my car for a few years now. I haven't had the first problem yet.

The Spohn parts I've used have been good except for the k-member and I think their customer service has gone down hill the past couple of years. Customer service is huge when spending big money on aftermarket parts, I've since switched to UMI and BMR.

Im still running a spohn rear drag swaybar today. Ten years ago they were one of the top suspension companies but from what i read on here quality and customer service seems to have taking a dive. If you have the parts on the car already then leave them alone until they break or you decide to go to a different setup since they are probably fine. If you do decide to change parts out then UMI has a great product and excellent customer service. Ive got their chromemoly k member, a-arms and the tunnel mount torque arm and couldnt be happier with the parts. The parts have seen alot of street and track use and I havent had a single issue with any of it.

I think we are very fortunate to have awesome aftermarket companies for our LSX's. The suspension companies are no exceptions, in fact they're probably some of the best companies I've dealt with. I personally have UMI and Spohn parts on my car and I have had great experiences with both. I love my Spohn solid motor mounts and do to the fact that no other companies have a tubular k-member to bolt to them I will most likely upgrade, one day in the future, to a full Spohn front end. In terms of customer service I have read some negative reviews about Spohn but I have talked to them personally on the phone and through emails and they've always been very helpful, this goes for UMI as well.

They are NOT cheap. They make very good, quality parts.

I have seen many broken TQ arms and almost all of them have shown signs of loose bolts. In fact I just read a thread with a broken BMR TQ arm and it was clear that the bolts were loose on the rear end, most likely causing the failure. BMR also makes awesome parts but no part is indestructible and it is quite sad to see that people think they can modify their car without doing maintenance or having to sacrifice something. For example noise, vibration and harshness usually found when changing out stock suspension pieces to aftermarket, solid units. Every time before I race my car I am sure to check and torque every bolt underneath the car. Personally I believe that if you are not willing to take a few minutes to do so, you have no right to be racing and/or complain when parts 'fail'.
