Default Front suspension road race and drag race a arms and shocks

What kind of a arms won't bend for street driving and road racing and what would be a good all around shock

In general, well-made tubular a-arms are a good bet, but beyond that, dunno. For what kind of car?

What kind of K-member do you have? Ive seen aftermarket ones break.
For control arms, if you must have aftermarket (stock is fine though) go with UMI roto-joint (do not put poly bushing in any control arms!)
For "all around" shocks you need to aim toward handling shocks, because a drag shock like QA1, Afco Strange, and now viking, will be terrible for handling. Go with some Koni SAs (and strano springs, and strano swaybars while your at it).

Hello,

For road race check out our boxed a-arms, the weight savings isn't as good but the a-arms are built to handling anything. These are we recommend for handling cars:

www.umiperformance.com/2309

www.umiperformance.com/2312

For shocks, how much street driving? How much road race? Any drag racing?

If you have any questions please ask, we will be glad to help.

What about the upper controls the car will be more of a dd I would like a standing mile or two. A road coarse or two. A drag strip or two every year.

I've been running UMI front lower tubular A-arms(chromoly tubing) for years on my DD without any issues at all, and this is with running 625 lb.in. springs. UMI make a quality product.
You should be fine with your BMR K-member, and as far as upper arms just go with stiffer replacement bushings, unless you need over -1.5* camber up front which would really doubt you want on a DD.
Koni SAs are a great shock I'd recommend; I have them on my car.

I would recommend these: www.umiperformance.com/2310

Also for K-member, this one: www.umiperformance.com/2320

It sounds like you want to be a little bit of everything with the car this is why I am recommending the higher strength bind free items. Road course applies a lot of stress to the suspension.
