Default CTS-V Brembos & 17" 10 Spokes

For anyone wanting to use these calipers and 17" SS 10 spokes. Its not going work! Only because the SS 10 spokes have this 1/4 lip (see photos) the off-set was very close, little to no spacer would have been needed. It looks like there are some 18"/19" C6 ZR1 wheels in my future!

My SS/ZR1 have the same lip but not that deep into the wheel. It's more of 1/4" after the spokes and all I had to do is grind down on the calipers to fit. Have you tried using any spacers?

I am going to mock it up tomorrow to see how much of a spacer would be needed, but it looks like well over an inch would be needed. That lip is almost 2 1/2 inches from the spokes. Without that lip there would be very little grinding needed and a 1/4 spacer at the most.

It would have taken a 1 1/2 spacer. And I would have had no problem running that thick of a spacer, as they are availble. But the tires would have stuck out past the fender! and thats no bueno!
