Default Suspension question

So my SS is a 2000, is it normal to feel every little bump in the road or do i have to get new shocks and stuff?

This is almost too much of a personal taste question with a twist.
First consider that one guy will think something rides very well while another might think its entirely too soft, or too stiff.
Next consider all the different variations from the factory and aftermarket that could change things. Various different shocks and springs were offered for these cars through out the years, then someone could have put an after market set on. Aftermarket LCAs, swaybars, PHB, and bushings can play a huge role in ride quality. Then there are tires and tire pressure (make sure you are not above 30psi). Different tires ride differently depending on sidewall stiffness.
So if you are more specific we can help see if something is causing an issue, or everything is working, just your particular setup is too jarring for you.

Me personally I found the stock (WS6) ride quality to be a bit on the jarring side, but also too loose at the same time. This was a shock issue (stock decarbons), too much compression dampening and not enough rebound for me.

If you're not happy with the ride, and it has stock shocks, I would say definitely get new shocks. The factory ones were pretty bad. That alone will made a huge difference, as most here will attest to.

A new set of good shocks(Bilsteins, or Koni SA's), and keeping the tire pressure around 30-32 psi will go a long way to improving the ride quality.
