The Eibach sportlines drop almost 2 inches, passed that you will have to do modifications. You will also have a hard time finding places that do alignment. You will have to change driving habits, and there are some places you will just not be able to go.. BIG speed bumps and such.

About the exhaust, refer to
https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-external-engine/133169-various-exhaust-sound-clips.html

As long as you stay away from SLP LT, clearance should stay close to stock.

I have the eibach sportlines and my car dropped 2.25 inches. Love the stance and don't have any real problems with them. You just have to watch where you drive and be careful over bumps and similar.

I like the look of the sportlines, but hear alot of complaints about them. Do you have ANY issues with them other than having to be careful over bumps?

Great idea killer. Gonna put altezzas and a wing on the back too?

P.S. Take it to a track.

Well, if you drop the car 2", your suspension has 2 fewer inches to travel. Make sure have comfortable bump stops.

If you want acceleration / traction then dropping is not
going to help you at all. This is a rear wheel drive car,
you -want- weight transfer. Big drop without fixing the
rear end link geometry errors it will produce, is just a
Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement with maybe some
of cornering benefit.

I have yet to have any. I even race at the track with them and can still pull decent 60ft times (important for a A4).

I have the sportlines.. no problems so far, the only thing is the nose on our cars ar very long and you have to be careful of that, other cars produced by gm, aka vettes have small moses which allow them to be very low without consequences to the front end
