BMR 1" lowering front lower A-arms up front and do the Hose mod in the rear. There's also a few under body modification you can do to tuck the BBK Y-pipe up a bit higher(you'll need it).

Depending how low you go your upper A arms in the front might hit the top of your fender.

There is such a thing as too much of a good thing. Be careful.

Yeah, I get that. But you have to consider looks vs. how things work. I think a suspension should have some working travel left to, you know, work.

Your not going to want to go crazy low. 1" - 1.5" drops will usually give you the best setup and room to work with

If you do end up going that route, you may want to consider increasing your suspension travel.. although I don't recommend it. If you do this, make sure you are taking all the right precations. If you were going to do this the right way, you might want to look into adjustable coilovers and weight jackers and put in a higher springrate... along with all the other stuff to support it.

FYI, the BMR 1" drop A-arms will not reduce the shocks compression travel. Furthermore it can easily be adjusted for less drop with spacers between the bottom of the shock and the A-arms. So he will still have the ability for some ride height adjustment up front if needed, and maintain the shock compression travel he has now. IMO, up front this is his best option while keeping the cost down. For the rear the Hose mod is a no-brainer.
