Ok so i finally got my stock k member out if my car and had one quick question before the new umi tubular k goes in. My question is do the washers go between the frame and the k member or between the bolt head and the k? Ive searched and everyone said that the washers must be put in exactly where they are zip tied and when i opened up my box one was siting on top of the k member and the other was hanging under. So id love some clarrification from someone. Thanks.

Why would you need washers between the k and the car?

They get sandwiched between the k member and frame..

I asked the same thing on my bmr k member and that's what tech support told me

During shipping maybe one of the washers flopped forward on you..

Sorry for the time its been between starting the thread and this post. Well i got the new K-Member in and it looks awsome and i should be able to access and work on my engine easier now. Like others have said the washers are supposed to go between the frame and k member cause i called umi to double check and they said to put em in that way. And i used a jack with a block of wood under my oil pan. Its probably not the safest way but its cheaper than buying/renting a engine lift. Now all i gotta do is get my front LCA's back on and go get it aligned.
