Default Energy suspension trans mount

Hi, I'm looking at transmission mounts and I see that energy suspension offers 2 different mounts. One being pn: 3.1158 and it says its a softer poly and lowers the trans to correct pinion angle. The other being pn: 3.1142 and it says it lowers the trans 1/4 of an inch for optimum pinion angle. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with either. Thank you in advance.

Its a secret Santa present for my brother and he doesn't care too much about vibration. He wants all energy suspension bushings.

That's what I was looking for. For some reason it wouldn't bring it up on summit when I vehicle searched. Thank you.

And I believe they are. Just some people complain about how it makes the car vibrate more.

Just a heads up... I've heard a lot of people recommend that you want at least the same stiffness or stiffer mounts for the engine over the transmission. They say you want at least poly or solid for the engine if you go with a poly transmission mount.

I have no experience with this, but just a heads up. I would look that up before having him put in the mount. For all I know.. he already has poly engine mounts...

Its rumored that with soft engine mounts the twist of the engine will put more strain on the tail housing. Sounds like it is true. And yes he already has energy suspension engine mounts. Thank you though for the warning as I didn't know this until here recently.

OK Santa I sold my Poly mount on ebay and installed a rubber mount on my A4, I do have the Poly MM. I sold the tranny mount for a reason I always thought I had a miss in the engine, but install it and you'll figure it out.
