Default Which spring BMR or Eibach Pro Kit?

Which springs would are better quality and better suited for stock shocks until I get aftermarket ones? Also, whats a good shock setup for them. I've read good things about Blisteins and Hals. it. I wanted to lower it but dont know anything about what I need for the spring I choose. Thanks

Neither are good with stock shocks. Stock shocks really aren't even good with stock springs.

I have BMR springs right now, but am thinking the Prokits would be better, and I might try them in the future.

I think the Pro Kit is lower than the BMR. I was just considering them since Thunder has a 15% special and all. I think the Blisteins would go good with the Eibach but I don't really know. Is this still a good setup for drag racing. Nothing hardcore just the the occasional run.

Prokit all the way! I've owned two TA's both lowered with Eibachs, they're great springs.

On the 96' TA I was running Bilsteins, and on my 02, I'm running stock shocks.

the BMR springs are a "progressive" spring rate, which is better for weight transfer in "drag racing" applications...The Eibach's are lower though..

Excuse my ignorance but what is a "progressive" rate spring? Do they get lower over time or as speed increases or shift so more weight is in the back?

progressive rate springs are wound with a softer spring rate at one end, which increases as you move toward the other end. Spring rates for the front BMR spring vary from 310 pounds per inch up to 550. In daily driving, just the soft coils are being compressed, so the car rides like it has 310 pound linear rate springs. Then when the suspension has additional loads from aggressive driving (really leaning into a corner, for example) the stiffer portion of the spring gets compressed.

Where did you see the 15% discount at ThunderRacing? I'm seriously considering a prokit, adj PHB, and LCA relocation bracket combo they have for $350. If I can get 15% off that, it'd be awesome or at least cover the tax since I live in LA with them.
