From the 1996 factory shop manual (page 3A-6), the camber setting is called out as 0.4* +/- 0.5*. This also translates to the "green" of the Hunter read out. In other words, the green of the Hunter machine would be (-).1* to (+).9*. That's not to say that those numbers are ideal for "performance" driving, but they are what the factory says are acceptable.
Strictly from an "eyeball" standpoint, your a-arms should be favoring the inner sides of the adjustment slots, because lowering the car naturally causes the camber to go negative, meaning you need to add some positive camber to offset this. However, given the age of the car, and possibly unknown history, your adjustments may vary....
