Default LCA relocation bracket Q?

For those of you who have installed relocation brackets, how did you hook up the e-brake? I have BMR brackets and there doesen't seem to be any way to hook up the e-brake other than cutting the connection off of the original brackets and welding them on to the BMR brackets.

I don't see anything about the e-brake line on that. Am I blind or something?

There is a strap that wants cutting. I cut the welds
and tossed the strap piece, left the rest of it be.

I don't know if you guys understand what I'm saying. I installed BMR LCAs and there are no provisions for the e-brake cable that I can see. How do you hook up the e-brake cable?

You need to reuse the stock bracket but, you have to cut one of the arms off. Here are the direction with pics. http://bmrfabrication.com/instructions/cab001.htm

BTW: I cut the inside arm off but did not drill and bolt the back of the bracket. Mine is only held on at the one factory point left but the ebrake still works just fine.

I went a step further in laziness. I just bent the tab, didn't even cut it off. And good luck getting a drill under there and drilling thru that much steel, so I left that off too. One attachment has been fine so far, e-brake is fine.

I just cut my stock e-brake bracket off inboard of the little tab thingy and it was solid so I didn't do anything further. Its been working just fine for years now. The Sawz-All is your friend

It's good to know that I'm not the only one who was to lazy to do it the right way.

Cool! Thanks for the help. I thought I would have to do something like that. Just making sure I wasn't the only one with that problem. Why doesn't anyone make the brackets with an e-brake bracket?
