Default need help with ride height measurement.

im getting ready to order new coil overs but im not sure where to take the measurement for the ride height is it from is it from ground to bottom of fender not sure need help.maybe im over thinking this.

GM uses a couple of different points for ride height reference. One point is from the "center of the lower a-arm pivot bolts to the ground", and the other is from the "bottom of the rocker panel to the ground". Using the top of the wheel arch as a reference is questionable, as sheet metal parts aren't always hung on the car accurately. You need a "hard" point on the car's structure.
