Default control arms

Hey guys havin some issues here. Im removing my k member cause its damaged and replacing it. Didnt get much help when i put it out there but if you got any advice for me that would be great. Im running into a problem getting my lower control arms off in the front. I got the bolt out closest to the wheel and the one by the rack n pinion but i cant get that third bolt out. I think im going to take out my k member with the arms on unless someone can help me out. Thanks

WHAT third bolt??? You mean the sway bar link?

I cant get the bolt out on the passenger side if my rack....trying to still get my k member out

Do you mean your having trouble with one of the 2 bolts that bolt the rack and pinion to the K member? Kinda hard to help out over the interwebs without much detail to go on..

Had the same problem could not get the front LCA bolt out because it was hitting the rack right out the inner tie rod to rack joint. I loosened up the rack and pried up and barley got the bolt out. I dread when I have to put it back in.

Ok I think I get what he is saying after re-reading it. He said 3rd bolt because he is including the balljoint "one closest to wheel". He got that off, he also got the camber bolt "closest to rack & pinion" out. But he's having trouble getting the caster bolt out (rear vertical bolt in the LCA).
Very common problem, bolt is probably rusted stuck. I had to deal with this and it was a PITA when doing bushings and BJs... Ended up having to drop the k member to torch what was left of the bolts after I cut through it with a sawzall to get the control arm out of there. It was a mess.

BTW that camber bolt is easy to get out and in... Turn wheel to the opposite side your working on and move the tie rod up out of the way and the bolt slides right in
