Brake pads

I am really tired of having to clean the brake dust off the car. I have to re-clean the car when I am going somewhere with the car because it has brake dust down the side and on the wheels. Now it's not real bad, but noticeable. I take that back, the further I drive the worse it is, but I guess that's obvious. My brother has the same issue with his 2011 grand sport, but it's not as bad. Is there a brake pad that won't leave brake dust like this. I don't have this issue on my 81 Z28, and I have stock pads on it.

Ceramic May be worth a try. Also, stick with the better brands.

Yes ceramics are what you want, but if you goto the track, swap them for Hawk HP Plus or better...

The stock AC Delco pads (they are ceramic) have always been good to me in this regard.

I don't know if the fronts are stock or not. I got the car with 41K on it. I will just change them to ceramic soon and see how it works.

I have the brake motive kit from eBay and its been awesome. I have the drilled and slotted, can't say enough good about it.

HP Plus will dust and make lotsa noise...but will STOP the car.
