18 inch wheels causing abs problems?
Will a larger size wheel cause abs issues( i think) at higher speeds (80+) and around corners? It seems that my problem began after I switched to c5z wheels.
I dont have any abs lights on or low trac light, basically it feels like the brakes are really tight and barely work unless i press really hard and then it feels like im getting weird feeback in the pedal and some strange noise. Can someone please help me out, its pretty scary when it happens.

are you running the same tire diameter front and back? different sizes are OK as long as the total diameter matches.
if the tire sizes between front and back are to far different (like the stock C5 tire sizes are very different) it can play havoc with the ABS.

More than likely not, i am pretty sure they are both 40 size sidewalls but with 1 being a 17 and one being an 18. Front set up, 275/40/17. Rear: 275/40/18 So this is my culprit? what do i do to correct these issues? can it be fixed with a tune?

dude your tire diameters are a full inch different front to back with those sizes, I would almost guarantee that is your problem, you can run staggered wheel sizes (16/17, 17/18 or 18/19) but you NEED to size your tires to match the same diameter, you have a 3.9% difference in tire diameters. check out these threads I found real quick.

site:ls1tech.com
at the end of the search bar.
For example in this case you would type:
staggered tires site:ls1tech.com
into Google
Also in your case a 275/35/18 for the rear tires would be the right size, that puts you at 0.1" difference in diameter which is less then 1/8th an inch
