Default Abs inop light post ls1 swap

Just need a few pointers. My abs light has been on since I did an ls1 swap to a firebird I just bought. I swapped k members with brakes and all from my totaled formula. Flushed the brakes front and rear. I have good pedal feel but seems as though the brakes are not fully releasing. I was thinking that I may not have fully flushed all the air out of the abs unit. Are there any differences between 98 and 99 abs units? Are v6 and v8 the same? Any thoughts/ solutions are much appreciated. Btw when did the swap I had disconnected the master cylinder from the abs unit as well.

With the abs light on have you ran a scanner just to see what it reads? Maybe it can point you to the starting point of finding a solution.
