Default Can a 3-channel abs module be used instead of a 4-channel?

Presently have a 2000 Z28 with ASR. I would like to not have ASR (TCS). I suspect that my brake controller module was damaged by a dead short so it needs replaced. Can I buy a 3-channel ABS module and bolt it in place of the 4-channel, still have ABS and cruise control, but eliminate the ASR?

The module I am thinking of swapping appears to be called an ABS EBCM brake controller module and simply bolts to the brake line manifold block in the engine bay on the driver's side. Can be purchased for $50-$70 used. The 4-channel version costs $200+ used.

Thanks,

Fred

We know the blocks are different, the lines and harness in the rear as well. I would suspect the electrical portion is different because there is one extra solenoid to activate. Used they go for a lot less then $200. Hell I threw mine away.

OK, thanks for the reply. Ebay has a few 4-channels but they are listed $200+. Any suggestions for where to find them for way less?
