starting to rust!, Will stainless work?
starting to rust!, Will stainless work? My longer LCA bolts that were installed when I put my subframes in are starting to rust. Are stainless bolts strong enough to work here? From the local hardware store?

Tell you what, when I installed my cutout I hand-
sheared off about half of the stainless bolts I used,
skinny ol' me and a 1/2" ratchet. They are like
pudding, those Ace Hardware stainless bolts.
Not To Be Relied Upon. Better to get some anti-sieze
(for the thread rust) and just wipe it all over the
bolt w/ a paper towel, everything will now be nice
and silver. Stay that way a good while, too, and
if it gets a little crusty, just wipe it on again.
Seriously. Suspension deserves proper grade bolts.

I believe a 10.9 or grade 8 bolt is 130ksi yeild stength, I assume by your listings it is 90ksi yeild and 125ksi ultimate for the stainless, in this case they are not equal to what you have, I assume the bolts now are 10.9's or grade 8's
