Default Please help with rotor problem!

My 2002 Camaro's rotors are warped at 20,000 miles. I know this is a common problem with Camaros. I will be puting on after market rotors of better quality when I get the cash. Which would ba a good choice and will last this time around?

Also do Silverados rotors have this problem as well? I have a 2003 regular cab 1500 with 17,500 mile on it. Thank you for any help!

I guess the Aimco rotors at Autozone are good replacements. They look like factory blanks, but have more mass to prevent warping. If you like fancy rotors, irotors, a sponsor here sells slotted/cross-drilled/zinc plated rotors for about $300 a set. You won't notice a difference in performance, but they look real nice.

On this note, what do you Aimco guys go with in the rear? Just stock GM?

I run Brembo OEM fronts (look stock) and Bendix rears. They hold up great, even with race pads.

Thank you for the advice! Do you know about how well stock Silverado rotors hold up? Thank you!

I'd try the guys in the truck forum, you may have better luck there (sorry, I don't have the answer to that one).

Where do you get those rotors again?

Fronts from www.tirerack.com or www.stranoparts.com and the Bendix rears from www.carbotecheng.com.
