Could. Sometimes the play isn't noticeable but there is enough wiggle or something internally for the sensor to get screwed up. Happened on my Trailblazer, same basic idea with the hub. No play but it started randomly firing ABS when almost at a stop, but it wasn't until a few thousand miles later that it actually started making any noise. Still had no visible play in it but it was extremely loud.

If there is interest........ These are in limited production. Jim is a CMC racer who makes these in order to keep racers on the right track. They are not mass produced, he is making them out of pocket until they are bought. This might be the last time he produces these so I want mine now before they are all gone.

I recently replaced mine on my Yukon. Those generally have about a 100k life on the trucks. I went with Timken who was the OEM supplier of the hubs when the trucks were new. Seems the market is flooded with China crap for a lot less.

I agree Timken and SKF make quality products, however their f-body replacement hubs just don't hold up to any abuse. I wouldn't hesitate to run any other product from them.

These are top notch quality, fit, and finish. They are actually pretty, beautifully machined billet chromoly. I've got a set already and couldn't be happier. Bump it up. Buy these. You won't regret it.

I'm not sure if they will be or not, but there is also the Hoosier PE alternative they bolts right into the factory hub location and retains the factory mounting offset and ABS functionality. Pricey yet if you run your car hard enough to where you need new front hubs every event or so, these are a must.

OEM, SKF, Timken, Moog. Basically all or very close to the same durability wise I believe. SKF gets the highest regards where I live. Any of those will be plenty fine for spirited driving and the occasional autocross on street tires. When you start seeing multiple events on 275 front tires with 200 treadwear or lower, then the next step up would be the Hoosier PE ones as mentioned in the above post
