So I bought a shirt........

Just received my adapters today. Hats off to Jim for having such a great kit. I went out and bought ARP bolt just to be surprised that everything was included in the kit. Also came with great instructions as well as a template for brake ducts. The adapters are awesome!!! Xtrackers hubs should be in tomorrow from Hoosier. Can't wait to get them all installed.

Yup it's a great kit.
Only thing I got stuck on was swapping the new connectors onto the original harness. Once I realized you take out one wire at a time to transfer it and or take a picture of it before you remove them it's easy. Note how there is a notch feature on the plugs to allow them to fit one way...then look at what color wire is where.

AFAIK, he won't be. He only does batches of 5 or 6 sets at a time when demand is there.
Supposedly Strano will make something like this and sell them, at which point they will sell simply due to the fact that he will push them and market them.
Jim's adapters are more "word of mouth" through FRRAX. I was able to inform a couple guys around me including Danny Popp to get a set. IMO it's a nice piece of mind for safety.

Can anyone provide me with Jim's contact information? I don't need a set of these right now, but I would like to purchase a set seeing as these aren't mass produced, and may be problematic to obtain in the future.
Thanks,
Chris

No problem, Jim's email is: jim@design-base.net
The Xtrackers hubs have been delayed by FedEx (Big suprise...) were suppose to be here on the 24th and they finally went to drop them off and the house yesterday but wouldn't with No one there to sign for them. Should be able to pick them up today at lunch.
Question for thoes that have the adapters. I'm sure they will rust, did you guys paint them? I powdercoat myself I just have been lazy with it lately.

$200 deposit....is that the whole cost of getting a set of these adapters or will it be more? I can do $200 as of now.

As of yesterday I was the first person to send him a deposit on the next run of adapters. Waiting on two more to get the ball rolling!

The full cost of the adapters is $475 shipped to your door (lower 48 states). $200 deposit saves your spot in line and Jim needs at least 3 deposits before he'll order another set of adapters from his machinist.

This morning got an email that the machinist estimates May 31 as the delivery date.
Just as an FYI to anyone reading this thread. My car is a bolt-on street car, never ran more than a 275/40/17 street tire up front, AND I only have 58k miles. I needed to change the driver's front fender liner yesterday, and decided to check my wheel bearings since I'm purchasing a set of these adapters. Low and behold the driver's front has a small amount of play, very very small, but no amount of play is good.
Where is the cheapest place to get the SKF bearings? Still from the Hoosier website linked on the first page of this thread?
