Default How to correctly select spring rate?

Looking at getting some coilovers and I am trying to figure out what spring rate to choose. The is a drag racing app but will see street driving. So I see it as 60% drag and 40% street. I was thinking a 350# spring based on strip/street driving and it being full weight with turbo kit, FMIC and TH400.

Please explain how you arrive at figuring this out. Thanks!

350lb springs is what I would recommend for your combination due to the car being more of a street/strip vehicle and how heavy the front end is. With no weight savings done on the car and the additional weight of the turbo kit 300lb springs would sit the car very low in the front and not allow you to raise it really at all.

being an iron block and turbo, 350 would probably be your best bet for a street car
