vibration

Just quick question, 1999 camaro with performance upgrades. It drives great until i get from 57-61 mph it has a bad vibration, then goes away.I just bought this 2 months ago with all upgrades already. I wondering if it could be the drive shaft not balanced. The tires are balanced already. ay ideas

Do you have an adjustable torque arm and/or lowering springs? Pinion Angle could cause a vibration similar to what you described. Give us more detail as to your upgrades and we'd be glad to help.

Yeah i have both but the lowering springs are only .5" ft and back. I do have a adjustable torque arm. i have the bmr sport suspention set up. Wondered since my fron tires are 245 17 and rear are 275 17 cause this vibration.. thanks for the reply

Since you can easily adjust your pinion angle, I'd start with that. Look for 1-2 degrees. Measure the angle at the output of the trans and the at the pinion. I recommend the Tremec tool box app if you have a smartphone. There's a lot that can cause vibration though... Wheels out of balance, driveshaft issues, alignment, etc.

Is it a t56 with an aftermarket driveshaft? I also see you have aftermarket wheels, make sure it has the proper lug nuts and doesn't need a hub centric spacer ring.
