Default CTS-V Brakes without ABS

Has anyone done the CTS-V 4 pistons without ABS? I have a Currie 9" that makes ABS nonoperational. Will I just be locking up on the street all the time if I put CTS-V brakes on? I might just sell the setup if they don't work well without ABS. As far as tires, i will be running atleast a 285 in the front.

how often does your ABS light come on on the street?
not much. that would be the only time youd being locking up.
just be sure to only do the front CTSV swap, leave the rear stock.

I currently don't have ABS due to my 9", I've only locked up once at an autocross, but thats good to know. I'm not as worried to run these on the street then.

They will only lock if you lock them...

Shouldn't have any problems. Run good tires, don't use shitty pads like hawk HP+ that are very grabby.

Awesome, thats good to hear. I'm running Stoptech pads which aren't extremely grabby so it should work well.
