Default Koni/strano install

I originally was going to pay a shop to do the install but after some nonsense from them I decided to do it myself. I've read the how to's, watched videos etc.

Other than being careful with the spring compressors (which since I bought new moog mounts I don't need to compress the old ones), is there anything else I need to be really aware of?

And what's the best way to get the torq bolts off that are under the master cylinder? I'm a little concerned about messing with it.

Thanks

All I did was loosen the nuts on the master cylinder. There is no reason to break any lines or even move the cylinder off of the studs. It is only to wiggle it so you can put the Torx 50 bit on the bolt. Then I put an adjustable wrench to hold it and loosened it that way. It takes a while but using a dogbone ratchet wrench or small open wrench did not give me enough leverage to break the torque.

You'll be fine, especially since you don't have to dissemble the old setup. Do you have new isolators and stuff as well?

I have new strut mounts for the front L/R and new insulators for each. Am I missing something? Do I need the coil spring seat?

I didn't get anything for the rears

You don't need anything for the rears, but you will need the plastic coil spring seat. Rock auto has them for cheap I think.

I had to sand mine down a little bit. Really simple. Just a little sandpaper and elbow grease and sand it down little by little until it fits in there.

Depends on which Koni. Koni Str.t and you'll need to sand it down a little bit. Koni yellow, no sanding required

Quick update, i'll post pictures when I get a chance.

Got them all installed with the strano sways and holy ****, what a difference. They went on fairly easy, having new strut mounts made it a lot easier. They fit w/o any issues. Car is 26.5 all the way around, looks awesome

Thanks for the help everyone

Stranos and konis have definitely been my favorite mod to my car since I bought it. All the go fast goodies are great and all but bringing the car lower to the ground just gives it a much better look and feel when driving.
