Default Lowering Question

Hows it going everyone? I have a stock 99 trans am that i plan on lowering with strano springs with koni str.t shocks. I also plan on getting some torque thrust ii 17x9.5 all around with 275/40/17. Just wanting to know if ill be fine or may run into some problems such as rubbing or having to get my fenders rolled?

http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp

stock wheel specs are:

I ran 17x9.5" rims, with 275/40s on my '96 Z/28, and had no clearance problems at all. Coincidentally, I was also on Strano springs. Two things are important...backspace on the wheels, and since you're lowering the car, you'll need an adjustable panhard bar, to make sure the rear axle is centered under the car. If you get wheels with 6.75-7" of backspacing, you should be OK.

Just another reply.
Those tires won't be any problem at all, if the wheel offset is correct of course.

I'd recommend an adjustable pan hard even if you weren't lowering it

Over time you should look into an adjustable TA and some lca relo brackets if you want to drag race, but the adjustable PHB should be enough for now.
