the shocks need you to cut carpet and are a
bit tedious to remove the nut due to confined
access). Fronts, you'd really be better off to
take the current shock + spring assembly, and
your new front springs & new front shocks, to
a Discount Tire and get the presswork done
(walk-up price should be under $50 a side, I
think I got quoted $40/) by somebody with
the big tools and workman's comp.
I just went through it last night. The fronts took about 2.5 hours total, plus 3 hours with the impact wrench to get the passanger side shock nut off. It started off looking like a pile of rust, but it eventually came off. I have a crap impact wrench though, so if you have a good one you should be alot better off.
