Default stainless brake lines for lt1 car

I'm upgrading the brakes on my 95 trans am to the ls1 set up. I have a pair of c5 corvette stainless steel brake lines from stoptech. I started putting them together and it seems like they aren't quite fitting on the hard brake line of the lt1. Anyone know if the hardline on the lt1 cars are similar to ls1 and/or c5 corevettes?

I did some searching around the forum and couldn't find a definitive answer on specifically using c5 brake lines on an lt1 car.

I used C5 rubber hoses and they fit fine.

The little notches that fit into the hard line bracket are different. You just have to force them in there and hammer the retaining clip in. Once the retaining clip is in, they wont back out.

It feels like the hardline is not screwing far enough into the new fitting. Rather, it does not visually look like it is going as far in as it should. It get very tight and I stopped trying to force it at that point. Anyone experience this before?

Mine still had a few threads sticking out, I wouldn't worry about it. You can check for leaks when you bleed it.
