Default 99-02 F-Body ABS better than 98 ABS?

There was a comment made on a YouTube video that the 99+ ABS is 10X better than the 98 ABS. Any truth to that? If yes, can the 99+ ABS be properly retrofitted to the 98? I notice that the 98 controller is PN 12453256 vs 99-02 PN 10424856.

The only rumor I can shed light on that myth is that my 98 car never had problems running different size front or rear rims, where as a few buddies I knew with 99 and newer cars with z06 17s and 18s in the rear would trigger an abs light because the controller would see different front and rear wheel speed rotations on the 99 and newer cars

For the best results I would compare reviews of a 1998 SS stopping distance, compared to a 2002 SS stopping distance

Quick Reply: 99-02 F-Body ABS better than 98 ABS?
