Default Afco Install

I'm in the process of installing afcos on all four corners. I noticed that this shock doesn't sit or take up all the space in these mounts. Is this normal!?

It'll have to wait on both. I'm not home. But it's basically a 1/8" spacer on each side. You could get that at lowes

I hope that pic above isn't how you are installing them.

If you're talking about the rubber piece and what not, I have since figured it was incorrect in this picture!

It appears you purchased shocks with a 1" bearing and your mounts are for a wider bearing. Afco, Strange, Viking, Qa1 all make a wider bearing but 1" bearing with 1/2 hole is standard for a coilover shock and what all our mounts are set up for unless a customer request a different width.

These are Umi mounts. I was told that Umi makes them this way to be able to fit multiple bearing widths. They told me washers would work just fine.
