Default C6 vs F-body brake lines

I'm already using custom brackets with my C6 calipers. I'm looking at upgrading to an aftermarket C6 BBK, which would come with lines to mate with C6 chassis hard lines. Are the C6 and F-body chassis side connectors the same? If not, does each style of chassis side connector have a design 'name' that makes it easy to have lines custom fabricated? Sort of how like the FMSI code defines the brake pad shape, is there a code/description for the types of line connectors?

Does the 98-02 F-body use the same chassis-side brake line connectors as the C5 or C6?

Searching indicates 4th gens and the base C6 are the same size, M10x1 connection at the end of the factory hard line.

The lines will connect, but they may not be the correct length.

Thanks! When I switched to C6 calipers, I wasn't sure if they required new lines due to length, or also due to different hard line connections. I found a line kit from, I think it was Wilwood, that mentioned the specific type of connector for the F-body, but couldn't locate the same for the Vette.

Edit - I didn't think to look in the F-body parts manual, looks like it's described as:
NUT, FLRD TUBE, M10x1x17.3, 4.75 TUBE, 7133M (FRT BRK)

When I search gmpartsgiant.com for a 2008 base Corvette, I see these items:
NUT, HX TUBE INVERTED FLARE, M10X1X16, SAE1010, GMW4707M(FRONT BRAKE PIPE)
NUT, HX FLARED TUBE,M12X1.0X17, 5.3 TUBE, SAE1010, GMW4707M(FRONT BRAKE PIPE)

What does the x16, x17 and x17.3 refer to?

Not sure. Probably thread length? I looked up the f-body and c6 line kits on Wilwoods site and they use the same hardline adapter, the parts will interchange.

Your other option if the lines included aren’t the correct length is to do what wilwood does and convert to -3AN. That way, you can get cheap -3 lines in any length from pretty much anywhere. You said you are using an aftermarket kit, so the connection on the caliper size will be something commonly used. What kit are you installing?

Wait, I messed up. The flare on the C6 is inverted. Those lines included in the kit won’t work. Best option is to adapt f-body hardlines to -3AN and get new lines.

The lines in the kit can be custom made for length and a specific list of fittings. The way I see it, I can either 1) attempt to give them the exact type of connection to direct mount to the factory hard lines, or 2) have them use a -3AN end on the line and then attempt to source a -3AN adapter. In the interest of having one less point of failure, I'd prefer option 1.
