Race Column w/ factory style ignition?

That's the smart man, methodical way, follow each wire to the connector and terminate it there. If time and money were no object I'd totally strip my car bare, get a standalone harness for the engine, a race-pack gauge set up, and universal hot rod lighting harness and go that route, but damn that sounds involved.

Certainly time consuming project, but probably well worth it, and that's just about the only way you can do it without running into problems later.... stripping back all that conduit and stuff then tracing back to original harness location for each individual wire will be a such a nightmare...luckily F-body electronics are still mostly 90's technology...still fairly easy to trace and understand compared to the new age stuff for us common folk.
