Default What do you think of this setup?

Just came from c5 z06 wheels. Needed something to fit my new brakes. Picked these over weld rts wheels... not sure go w I feel about them.

I love the overall look, but the offset looks a bit off

I noticed that. The front wheel could use a little less offset.. maybe -2mm.

The rear is sitting good it’s just that those r888s run really wide. That’s a 305/35 on a 11” wheel.

I think it looks great too but do you have spacers in the rear or just that much offset? I've tucked 335 DR's on an 11" wheel no problem. Better make sure your bump stops are good and/or roll that fender so it doesn't eat the tire.

No spacer. Rear offset is just aggressive. It’s 18x11 +43.

I had the fenders rolled and beat the inner fender up to make sure it doesn’t rub before I put the wheels on.

I think it looks good. What size are the wheels and tires?

You could really set them off with a color matched stripe.. something like this for example

They look good... but I see what you might mean, to me they look to big.. kinda remind me of those monster wheels with the star center emblem

They look good to me based upon the few pics I’ve seen. Is there something about them that you don’t like? Regarding the color matched pinstripe around the perimeter, I’ve never cared for that, but it all comes down to personal preference.

I think it’s the skinny spoke and no lip design that makes them look bigger than they are. Personally I think 17s look nice on fbody cars. Maybe 18s with a lip but the brake setup doesn’t allow for 17s.

Between the color and standard 5 spoke design they don’t look special to me. I really wanted them machine polished but that isn’t an option from forgestar anymore.

I think some vendors offer polishing, but it can be expensive. I guess you can also get blanks and polish them yourself if you’re capable. I’m debating piano Black for my ‘94 that’s a Black hardtop, Black mirrors and limo tint. It might look great, but I’ve never had a car with black wheels. I also wish polished was an option directly from Forgestar.

I never cared for black wheels and still really don’t. Mainly because black hides most of the aesthetics of the wheels. Polished looks real nice with bright red paint. Black is meh.

I'm pretty picky with wheels. There are very few that I would actually run on my own car--and I like yours. I would go with brushed or chrome lugs, and a brushed center cap. If you want a brushed lip, you could easily spin them on the car and carefully hold some sandpaper up to the lip to sand off the paint/powdercoat at the lip (probably easiest with the tires off). I do not think they look too big, and the black color matches your tinted windows and the rest of the color scheme. It also offsets your CTS-V brakes perfectly.
