Suspension/ traction help
Hello all, I recently did a cam only/bolt on Ls3 swap in my 2000 ws6 and I am having traction issues like you wouldn't believe. I can't get this thing to even come close to hooking up on the street. Yes street, haven't had the chance to hit the strip up yet. Car specs are- cam only Ls3, bolt ons, finish line level 4 4l60e trans, 3600 yank, strange s60 w/3.73 gears, umi adjustable lca, chassis mount ta, Panhard bar, Konis, and on a Hoosier drag radial right now with 18psi. Pinion angle is set at -2 degrees. Also car put down 463 rwhp and 427 rwtq. Am I missing anything suspension wise that might killing my traction? Any adjustments that I could make that might help? I had mickey Thompson drag radials, but they were badly worn so I got these Hoosier drag radials, and honestly it felt like the mickeys may have hooked a little better. Any help from you all would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Yeah that's what I thought too! I have heard nothing but good things about the Hoosier dr. Anyway, my issue is when I try to launch my car from a dig and even a slight roll it just spins all through first gear. I can understand some wheel spin, but not this much.

I just got the mickey street r radial and couldnt b happier. I have 420 rwhp and 385 torqe on a 6 spd and have no issues hooking. I have torqe arm panhard bar extreme drag swaybar lca’s koni double adjustable up front single adjustable in the back and subfram conectors and i hook good now on 25psi. Now with my old nittos it was like launching on ice

Thanks for the replies! Really appreciate it. As far as tires, they are pretty much brand new. Just mounted them 2 weeks ago. What is the difference between the mickey's Thompson et street s/s and the r radial? Are they stickier? And yes the konis are adjustable. Although I have never messed with the adjustments. They were on the car when I got it. I just want to get this thing to where I can load the converter, stomp the throttle and go! But as of now I'm not having much luck.

What springs do you have? is the car lowered? do you have lower control arm relocation brackets?

As far as springs, the front are qa1 and the rear are stock. The front and rear seat bars are also stock. The car is not lowered. My strange s60 rear came with 4 hole lca brackets and I have my lca in the 3rd hole down.
