Default SLP Suspension?

If I recall correctly, SLP cars, such as mine only had upgraded shocks, as well as progressive rate springs. So my question is did this have any effect on ride height? I'm considering buying new Koni STRT shocks with Strano springs soon, so in doing so will I need to add RCA relocation brackets as well as an adjustable panhard bar?

If I remember right the SLP cars were about 1/2" to 3/4" lower

What are you doing with the car, and what size wheel and tire do your run in the rear? Relocation brackets and an adjustable pan-hard bar come in handy, but aren't a 100% necessity just because you're lowering your car.

It's just a street car. Not really driven a lot. I've currently got 17 inch wheels and 315/35 tires in the rear.

Quite possibly want to get the pan hard bar so you can get the rear centered to keep from hitting a tire on the body. If you wheel hop bad after you're lowered then look into getting relo brackets for LCA's.

SLP cars did not necessarily have any upgraded shocks or springs, depends on the year and option package. And you would never get SLP Bilstien's with stock springs. Typically those would be together from SLP, but 20+ years means folks do a lot of things like put on different shocks, springs, etc. I can't really see very well what the car looks like. And to be honest it's a fool's errand to try and claim any drop on an unknown set of springs (brand, or age). Which is why I recommend to most folks looking at my springs to check out any number of pictures out there. Hell, just google "strano springs" and click on images so you can see what other cars look like with them, on average and you can decide for yourself.

Do you NEED LCA brackets and an adjustable PHB. No, you don't *need* them. Might want them, but nothing that you have to have, not even close to an absolute necessity. You can always add them later if you feel you want them.

Not sure what car/year you have, but some of the suspension upgrades on the LS1 firehawks at least include 35mm hollow front, and 21mm rear sway bars, stiffer rear lower control arm bushings.. None of that will have an impact on if you want to go to an aftermarket PHB, or get LCA relocation brackets.
My car seemed to hook up well with just bolt-ons, so I never added the relocation brackets. Now with the H/C/I build it doesn't hook up so well, maybe I should look into some relocation brackets.

Looks like an LT1 car. And SLP stuff didn't come with 35/21 bars until much later. The rear control arm bushings were simply solid rubber "1LE" type, which all cars had in fact until sometime in the late '90's as that change to the fluted ones was made for ride quality.

From what I've seen laying under the car I have an upgraded rear sway bar, not sure what size though. As well as tubular lower control arms. It is an LT1 car as Sam mentioned.

That's my point. If the bar just looks different it isn't a GM bar anyway (which is what SLP used). Maybe it looks stock but you measured it, but it doesn't sound like it. And they never had tubular LCA's either, so clearly some work as been done and at this point you can't assume anything is stock.
