Default Manual rack question

I have a 2001 Camaro ss that has been converted to manual steering. I can only get about 1 full turn in either direction and that's it. Is there any other manual tracked I can swap in where i can get less of of turning radius so it turns a little sharper? This car turns worse than a semi. Any help would be appreciated. Stock k member and control arms

The rack probably has rack limiters on it to limit rack travel as to not hit the inner rim of the wheels. That's what I had to do with mine. You can remove the limiters and gain travel but then your wheel fitment may need to change (thinner front wheels than 17x9 etc).

BMR offers a manual rack-n-pinion made for the fbody. Is this what you have?

Got ya, Dumb question where are the limiters at? I have 15inch rims on the front.

The rack limiters would be in the boots of the steering rack and on the inner tie rod. "Manual racks are only for drag racing"-Agreed 100%

We now offer a manual rack conversion for tubular k-members that pulls the rack closer to the k-member eliminating the issue with wider wheels. Unfortunately with a stock k-member and a rack bracket adapter it has to move everything forward thus sacrificing turning ability.

Here is a link to our two bracket options.
