So I traded a air box for a left and right front lower control arm. I looked them up and they’re the “Mevotech” brand. He says he got them off eBay. So I installed them 2days ago. Today I went under the car and I see ball joint geese coming out of the side of the blue plastic like ball joint. The ball joint looks pretty cheap as far as the housing but it looks way better then my old ones I removed. Do they make upgraded ball joints if so are the after market control arms able to have those cheaply blue ones pressed out?

 

That is exactly the problem with the Mevotch arms, eventually the ball joint fails. Replace with moog. I ended up buying a harborf&&*(^ 12 ton shop press. Any machine shop and lot's of shops have presses that can do it.
