F body Brakes on rear axle with Big Ford ends
I have a Trans Am 1994 and have broken two 7.5" rear ends.
So i bought a Moser 12 bolt and installed it on the car. BUT it has Big Ford (New Style) ends. My stock caliper does not fit.
Is it possible to find brackets that have Big Ford (New Style) pattern and where my 93-97 brake caliper fit? Could I just change the bracket that I have marked in the picture?

Yes you can make late camaro brakes work on the “Torino” ends as both use the same bearing size and if you have the correct offset axle for Camaro brakes which is more than the Torino offset.
I have 98 to 02 Camaro rear disc on a Ford 9 inch rear end using the Torino ends which is the same as yours. But I have the correct offset Moser axles to make it all work.
If you have the Torino offset (2.50 I think) you can still make it work with a spacer behind the bearing.
The aluminum mounting bracket/backing plates will fit on the Torino end by clocking the bracket slightly and drilling the 4 new holes in the aluminum bracket. The bracket has to be slightly counter bored to fit flush against the housing end as the bearing sticks out slightly(about a 1/10 inch I think).
i have some pictures somewhere of how it was done but this is the basics.

They are stock on all 98-02 Firebirds and Camaro, even the base models used them, not just the V8s. I believe that they use the same rotor as the earlier brakes but they have an internal parking brake shoe.
Do you know what offset those axles are?

Looking at your pictures, I failed to notice the stock iron caliper mounting bracket.
I believe that you can do the exact same to your mounts that we did to mine.
See if you can’t take the axle and that mount off. Your stock Camaro mount should work if you enlarge the bearing hole to the proper big Ford size and slide it on the end of the housing just like how it mounts to the 7.5 rear.
Then mark where the new 4 holes have to be drilled to fit the Torino pattern.
That rear end was made to fit a Camaro/Firebird so it should have the correct offset of 2.65 to work with your brakes.
