Thanks Sam... and for the record.. I am a FAN of your springs. I purchased my 02 35th LE SS last month w 14K miles.. It still has the decarbons and the Eibach's... floats and bounces like a boat on a choppy lake. Its horrible!! I'll be throwing the Koni yellow, strano's on ASAP...

Thanks for everyones feedback.

Running Sam's springs too. They're so bad, I'm pricing out some Penske @ our dealer pricing, but before doing that I'd love to get the Koni's working. The car is only a cruising mobile anyway...Koni sports are rebuildable, correct?
I also found the Sports extremely harsh at first. But at 1000 miles they're not broken in yet. I ended up settling at 3 sweeps from full soft (on the lower perch) and after several thousand miles they felt good and have been so ever since for many years now.

I don't get to drive my car very much, but I really like the way it feels with Sam's springs and the Koni Sport shocks. I suspect the tire/wheel combo would make a huge difference in how things feel. Running 20's wrapped with rubber bands would probably ride like crap regardless of other factors. I'm still running the factory wheels and some 20+ year old Goodyear Eagle tires, probably whatever model came on it from the factory. I'm thinking those tires were probably pretty new whenever I put my car in storage, but given their age I'm not really doing any aggressive driving. I didn't drive my car at all from late 2000 until around Thanksgiving of 2017. During that time I changed the springs and shocks, so I can't really recall how it rode in its stock configuration.

Anyone running this combo confirm or protest whether you can run on staggered c5z wheels with no problems?

The springs and shocks have no bearing on if you can run those wheels and if they rub. The body is the body, the bumpstops limit the downward movement to the same amount of compression regardless of stock spring or lowering springs. Then it is simply a matter of if the wheels and tires touch the body, regardless of anything else.

The rear wheels are +58 are kind of tight and can rub but comes down to really how big the tires are. I run a 10.5 +54 and they can rub some with 315 BFG Rival S's and that's on a Watts link car that has less lateral movement of the body under load and compression.
