Default Torque Arm or Sway Bars

Looking for some advice. In the process of upgrading the suspension on my ‘98 Camaro. So far I have koni str.t shocks with bmr lowering springs, umi adjustable panhard bar and relocation brackets. I’m looking to do the torque arm with relocation cross member and sway bars next but wondering which I should do first. Both will be done eventually but may be 3-4 months in between so looking to see which part will give a more noticeable upgrade on a hard driven street car.

Swaybars for sure, most noticeable, especially if you value taking turns

Do your research on relocating your TQ arm. I had a popular brand adjustable for a while and ended up removing it and going back to stock. The clunking, banging and vibration was annoying to me. I just ordered a MWC fab 9 and will be using their TQ arm. Hopefully it's not as bad but know I have to with additional HP.

I"m going to go with sway bars. Although, I only upgraded sway bars and not the torque arm. I'm still using the stock torque arm, but with a new energy suspension polyurethane bushing. In all honesty, I didn't notice the bit of difference in noise, vibration, or harshness over the stock rubber bushing....or performance really. Despite my desire to get the torque arm off the t56, I stuck with the stock torque arm as I've heard too many horror stories. Do you mind me asking you which brand torque arm it was?

I'll share it via PM as they are sponsoring vendors and have great products. Just not what I liked in this particular application

Sway bars all day. UMI's are excellent.

Of the two, I’d upgrade the sway bars first.

Our 35mm front, 22mm rear is a classic well balanced combo.

Yeah, I don't know know how those are really even the same level of what's next. What do you want to deal with more? Handling and roll, or wheelhop? Do you even have a wheelhop issue?

Swaybars are on my list of the big 3 things on these cars, shocks and springs being the others. Torque arm, not so much. Note that not all swaybars sets are the same, most use a rear bar I think is too large. Some similar ones cost more, etc, etc. I carry mine, which started the whole hollow 35/22 thing. I have UMI, I have Hotchkis, I have Detroit Speed bars too. And others.

But more and more it seems that people don't really define well what they are seeking, but far worse is most replies are wholly lacking in any sort of detail. Not always, the responses here, so far are far more reasonable then you see on groups on the book of faces.
