abs fault but no light

abs fault but no light Hello from a warm and cloudy England, I have searched the forums to find an explanation for my problem but to no avail.
Essentially my ABS doesn't work on my 1995 Formula convertible, and whilst I've found out that a previous owner had removed the bulb from the warning light I have scanned the system using the excellent scan9495 program I obtained from here and initially it found a fault with the brake switch.
I have changed the switch and the fault has cleared and no more fault codes are present, however the ABS is still inop so any suggestions as to where to investigate next would be very helpful.
