Attached is a picture of the CTS-V 4 piston caliper to illustrate my question. You can see the steel bushings in the mounting ears on the 4 pots. This is consistent with other Brembo calipers that I have used in the past except when the mounting bolt passes through the caliper and threads into the knuckle.
I have looked at a ton of pictures of the 6 pot caliper and can not for the life of me see the same bushing. Could someone confirm one way or the other whether the 6 pots have steel bushings.
The V1 4 piston doesn't have a steel insert on the lugs, that is just coating on the aluminum lug mount surface...the V2 6 piston and all the other similar 6 piston calipers (ZL-1 5th gen, C7 J56, 6th gen 1LE only) do not have steel inserts either.
Ats,Xts,C7 JL9,C7 J55,6th gen SS 4 piston calipers all do have the inserts
